In this delightful editorial shoot we celebrate the joy of spring with an abundance of seasonal flowers, shrubs and blossom in fresh, zingy shades of lemon, peach, lime and cream. I created a tablescape using several varieties of ranunculus, tulips, spray roses, hellebores, lily of the valley, fritillaries and spirea. The enormous suspended floral cloud above the table is made of lilac, mock orange, jasmine, spirea and peonies. The results were fragrant, frilly and wildly fun. London churchyard St Dunstan's in the East proved the perfect setting for this urban wedding shoot. The brief was 'concrete jungle' with a focus on moody, dramatic blooms in two palettes. Texture was vital to achieving the right look here, especially of the foliage and grasses. I also love those velvety deep purple calla lilies. These enchanting images, shot by husband and wife duo The Chamberlins, have since been featured on the pages of Confetti magazine and on the wedding blog Rock My Wedding.
"Rachel from House of Dandelions is one of the loveliest and most talented florists we’ve had the pleasure of working with. She is incredibly gifted at creating the most amazing floral work, both fresh and dried, and went out of her way to stay attentive to our vision. Everything was crafted to perfection and all her designs are thought through carefully. We’re so glad we got to collaborate together. While she is incredibly professional and talented, she is also super friendly!"

"When I approached Rachel and told her my concept for the shoot, she understood exactly what I wanted to create and completely brought it to life. The colours and flowers were just beautiful and perfectly in line with my initial vision, and the rest of the designs. She was great to work with, really communicated well and was such a positive person to have on site. A dream florist supplier and I hope to work with her again soon!"

Longton Wood provided an idyllic forest setting for our joyful wedding shoot with Your Story Events. The brief was 'over the rainbow' and bursting with early summer colour. My arch was designed to appear as if growing from the woodland floor and featured all British foliage. The glorious blooms included delphiniums, icelandic poppies, anemones, ranunculus, scabious, clematis vines, forget-me-not, narcissi and lilac. These images have since been featured on the Whimsical Wonderland Weddings blog. Photographs by Holly Smith.

“Your beautiful flowers really made the perfect backdrop and the bouquets were everything I dreamed they would be. Thank you!”

"Such a pleasure working with you, Rachel, your flowers were STUNNING!"
Laura Devine, Devine Bride
Hollie and Chris's wedding flowers were centred on naturalistic and wild designs in elegant shades of antique beige, peach, lemon, green and delicate whites. The stand-out installation above the mansion door created a beautiful focal point for photographs. I created a substantially wild base of mixed, seasonal foliage and added dahlias and lisianthus clusters. For the bouquets and smaller designs, I used seasonal British dahlias, garden roses, and quicksand roses, alongside more frilly lisianthus and cosmos. Textures were added using asparagus fern, jasmine and ivy tendrils. Images by Leo Hoang.

Lizzie and Chris's wedding will always have a special place in my heart, taking place in the middle of the pandemic in Sept 2020. Lizzie's passion for flowers and love of bright, joyful colours informed all my choices. Mini woodland-inspired meadows lined the aisle leading up to the enormous arch centrepiece, absolutely bursting with British beach, ferns, hazel and hydrandea. Magenta dahlias and pink larkspur added rich pops of colour to the lush foliage. Stunning images by wedding photographer Camera Hannah.
“Rachel, the arch and the flowers were incredible! Thank you so much. All the colours and the hydrangea branches in the flower arch… I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful they were.”

Here is a curated selection of some of my most favourite bridal bouquets and bowl designs. I remember making every single one of these bouquets, with so much love for the brides who would hold them walking down the aisle. What a privilege it is to have created these enchanting gatherings.

Kelli and Matt came to me looking for relaxed, vibrant floral designs with an uncomplicated, just-gathered look for their south London wedding celebrations. The meadow-inspired altar design created a stunning, naturalistic backdrop for the ceremony. I used as many locally grown varieties as I could get my hands on, including dahlias, strawflower, spray asters, cosmos, rudbeckia, sunflowers, echinacea and zinnia, as well as foxtail lilies and antirrhinum. "Thank you so much for the gorgeous flowers. Everyone adored them and they truly transformed the space."
